Meet the Founder

As a child, I dreamed of many careers but struggled with mental health, low self-esteem, and imposter syndrome. As an immigrant, I often felt out of place, and my varied interests and friendships with less popular kids were questioned. Despite being told I couldn't be a model because of my weight and facing racism, sexism, and anti-fat bias, I discovered that fat women could be models. This revelation inspired me to create my own business, Cosmic by Sudi Kay. Named for the cosmos' beauty and endless possibilities, my fashion brand aims to empower and uplift those who feel they don't fit in, offering stylish clothing and a supportive platform.
